This is a poem written at the Raised- A Mini Carnival at Little India on Sunday, 13th August 2007 by Mr. Shi LeiMing from the Art Department, Xian University of Architecture and Technology

我的汗水
在阳光中随风上升
成为空中飘扬的云层
并在另一个地方落下
长出
郁郁葱葱的花丛

My pouring sweat
evaporates under the torturous sun
It rises with the wind into the open sky
It forms layers of wandering cloud
and rains on foreign soils
where luxuriant flowers grow and thrive
